ABOUT ME
I am a 2022 graduate of Murray State University majoring in music performance where I focused on instrumental performance (euphonium and trombone). I enjoyed being a member of a variety of musical ensembles including University Wind Ensemble, University Orchestra, Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble, Trombone Choir, the Murr-Town Dawgs Tuba and Euphonium Quartet, University Jazz Orchestra, and University Brass Quintet. I have been a finalist for the Midwest Tuba and Euphonium Conference euphonium artist solo competition. I have also been a two-time finalist for Murray State University's Concerto Competition.
I recently graduated in the spring of 2024 with a master's degree in euphonium performance from the University of Missouri, Columbia. I enjoyed being a part of University Wind Ensemble, University Philharmonic Orchestra, tuba euphonium ensembles, and Perconium. Perconium is a duo group with myself on euphonium and trombone, and my partner Sarah Hasekamp on percussion. Perconium has been selected as the University of Missouri's Emerging Artist Competition winner in the spring of 2024. I have also been selected as the winner of the University of Missouri Concerto Competition in the spring of 2023.
I plan to take some time to develop a private studio and teach around the Columbia Missouri area, and to involve myself in local community orchestras and bands. My end goal is to teach the future of college-level low brass students and teach private lessons to high school students looking to receive a college education in music.
